SOS - Understand the three branches of Government

Andrew Little and Winston peters are concerned about the new Australian policy, removing New Zealanders from Australia. I think that them being concerned about the new official policy is a good thing because them doing that causes our country to get furious, because we allow Australians in New Zealand. This will impact trans tasman relation because this will ruin our bilateral relationship. I think that all laws between two countries should be agreed by both countries.

Review: Bottling water to send overseas

Green Party co-leaders Marama Davidson and James Shaw at the Greens AGM in Palmerston North. Photo / Lucy Bennett
I think that foreign land buyers should not use NZ water to send overseas for other people. My opinion supports the Green parliament's decision. David Marmara thinks that this situation is very critical so he strongly agrees with Foreign people selling our water overseas. I strongly agree with the Green party because our water from our rivers are ours only. They can sell in NZ but, I disagree with foreign people selling it overseas for their own benefits. I would like this to be a major law in NZ.

Cybersmart

         Cybersmart

What it means to be cybersmart and why it is important:
- It means to have protection online

Two things you learnt about being cybersmart and how you could apply
it to your own life:
- I learnt that being cybersmart saves you from bad emotions and it also helps
with social media problems. Now I know if I become cybersmart I can
use this for people that are mean on social media.

A personal strategy a young person can do to help themselves
if they are being cyberbullied:
- In my own opinion I would talk to someone if it’s either your family
friends or someone you know just talk to whoever your comfortable with.

A interpersonal strategy a young person can do to help their friend
who is being cyberbullied:
- Accompany and support the person. You can also talk to the bully
and tell him/her to stop doing that.

A personal strategy a young person who finds themselves bullying other
young people can do to help build their self-esteem and change their behaviour:
- Show empathy in the person your bullying.

Tips to give to the year 6s about how they could become cybersmart:
- One of my many tips is to make sure you learn more about being
cybersmart before you start any sort of social media.

Review: Plastic bags being banned

Image result for jacinda ardern and simon bridges plastic bag
Today my class and I read an article about governments debating over plastic bags being banned. Jacinda Ardern thinks banning plastic bags will save the community, by decreasing the pollution. Simon Bridge thinks that this will not make a difference. In my opinion I think that plastic bags being banned is a good thing because our community will be much more clean and healthy. Our pollution will slowly decrease in percentages.

Survivor - Blog reflection (2)

The first problem we faced was finding supplies, food and water. We solved the problem, by searching and scavenging.

Then we had to set up camp for us to sleep. One other problem we faced was the other living people on the island. We solved this problem by creating weapons, but making sure they were friendly or not so we would be able to attack.

Finally the last problem was the pirates who landed on the island and we solved this by ambushing them and taking their supplies.

We also had to chose between building a house or a boat, we chose a boat. Many of us made decisions as a team.

We had no other fair way to be captain so we played a fun game of rock, paper, scissors.

The reason we had to do this task was because our topic is government and we were testing if they could help their people in the community.
